New Zealand Cities
ARL has a long history of architectural and terrain visualization - from 3D Resource Planning tools showing GIS data layers in real-time, to the 33 Cities and Ports built for broadcast coverage of the Americas Cup, Louis Vuitton Trophy, Audi MedCup and the Monsoon Cup yachting regattas. In 2009 ARL constructed the city of Auckland in 3D for the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series, and it has since been used for urban development visualizations. We made our home city of Dunedin to visualize the proposed Forsyth Barr Stadium in 2007, and our 3D Wellington is used for flyovers during sporting events. All 3 have most recently been used for night-time flyovers during coverage of the Rugby World Cup 2011.
