ARL is always looking for good 3D modelers and animators - preferably with at least 2 years industry experience in either Autodesk Maya and/or Autodesk 3DS Max 3D animation software. Duties would include not only modeling cities, golf courses, racetracks and other 3D assets for our real-time 3D viewers and educational applications, but also bespoke 3D models for television special effects. A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop image editing software is a definite requirement. You will need to work well with other people (as most of our projects are team-driven), and a relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

Salary would be negotiated based on your capability, experience and qualifications. ARL is always looking for experienced digital artists - Successful applicants will have at least 2 years of industry experience and be first and foremost a Photoshop guru with strong design and drawing skills. You will have a solid knowledge of software packages such as Autodesk Composite, Combustion, 3DS Max and Maya. Duties can range from concept visuals to art direction to special effects  to compositing, for 2D and 3D stereoscopic output.

ARL/Virtual Eye is always looking for on-site operators of our real-time 3D sports viewers. Our 3D tracking machines are deployed all over the planet, covering events like Formula One, America's Cup, PGA Tour Golf and The Ashes. Successful applicants in the past have come from a television broadcast background in camera and editing - knowledge of the specific requirements of live broadcast is a must. Knowledge of 3D systems, 3D modeling and computer networking would be a definite advantage.

You will need to work well with other people (coordinating between ARL staff and the broadcast client), and an active interest in either Sailing, Cricket, Golf or Formula One would also benefit any job applicant.
